Arvia^®'s process relies on a highly-stable adsorbent, Nyex™, and operates without any mechanical moving parts. The process is extremely cost-effective for removal of low concentration of organics - cost is directly linked to the quantity of micropollutants to be removed from the incoming effluent.

These have wide-ranging impacts on removal of colour, odour, improved quality of drinking water or final effluent discharges and minimising damage to the aquatic eco-system. Its ability to increase reuse and recycling of water has global potential where water is an increasingly scarce resource. Process & supporting technology

• The process uses in situ regeneration of an inert, non-toxic carbon media (Nyex™)
• Pollutants are removed from the process stream and destroyed leaving no secondary waste requiring further treatment
