What is the typical footprint of a plant?It depends on the treatment rate required. A typical plant with a 1L Oil/hr treatment capability can be contained within two 20 foot and one 40 foot ISO freight containers and will have a footprint of around 74m2.
What are the power requirements of a plant?The operational energy requirement is between 40 and 55 kWh, per litre of pure organic treated.
Can the process destroy solid wastes such as resins?Solids in liquid wastes are typically filtered before treatment. Resins can be treated in the Arvia process if they are organic and can be processed into an organic liquid form.
Can the plant run unmanned?Yes. The Arvia plant is able to run on a continuous basis without operator action. There is a passive fail-safe system in place on any out-of-range or fault condition to shut off power without operator action. Automated operation reduces any unnecessary radiation exposure by limiting operator contact time.
